Citing Sources

  • Always check your assignment description and your course syllabus to see which citation style your instructor requires.
  • Make sure you write down where you found your quotation or fact, including the page or paragraph number.
  • If you use an idea or a concept from a source, you must cite it.
  • If you use someone else's work word-for-word, it must be placed in quotation mark, AND cited.
