Real English® is an online video library of spontaneous dialogues of people interviewed on the streets of English-speaking countries, organized according to grammatical, and functional criteria used in the interactive exercises.
In other words, Real English is based on a very simple idea, the organization and exploitation of spontaneous speech. There are no actors in Real English®. Students identify with ordinary people, i.e., the friendly interviewees who speak to us on the streets of many towns and cities in the US and UK.

Learning English is VOA’s multimedia source of news and information for millions of English learners worldwide. Learning English began as Special English, which Voice of America launched in 1959. Special English newscasts and features were a primary fixture of VOA’s international shortwave broadcasts for more than half a century. In 2014, our line of products was expanded to include more English teaching materials, and the service became known as Learning English.
